As we continue to better understand the situation and how best to slow down the spread of COVID-19, we may need to make adjustments to planned activities to ensure the health and safety of our team and you - our valued clients is being prioritised. We are fortunate that bookkeeping is predominantly a cloud based function which allows a lot of adaptivity.
As an employer, we also have a responsibility to our employees to keep them safe. Fortunately, our staff are all able to work from home and therefore able to isolate themselves from unnecessary contact should the need arise. This also means disruption to their daily duties will be minimal at this time. Any external face-to-face meetings that have been scheduled will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis to see if they can be deferred, or conducted digitally.
Following the recommendations of our professional body Institute of Certified NZ Bookkeepers, we will be working remotely for as long as is feasible to minimise any potential spread of COVID-19. For some of you, this will be business as usual as we already provide our bookkeeping services to you on a largely virtual basis.
Connection and communication are key during times like these, so we will continue to update you through our digital changes as and when required. We hope that you and your families stay healthy and we appreciate your support in keeping our community safe during this time of uncharted territory.
